Common and Legal Translations from/to English
Certified Translations
Price of the translation for official purposes is determined by the Regulation of the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic No. 491/2004 Coll. on remuneration and the reimbursement of expenses and compensation of time lost for experts, interpreters and translators (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulation“). The objective Regulation considers under the standard page 1800 signs including gaps on one page of text, i.e. 30 lines with 60 type-writing taps, while each last incomplete page and each single individual incomplete page or deed within the scope of up to one page shall be considered as one complete page.
At the common term for delivery, the price is EUR 19.92 / standard page.
In the case of a translation for official purposes with the reduced scope or scope equal to one half of the standard page (e. g. extract from criminal records, certificates, Apostille clause, various confirmations) the special discount is possible.
Common Translations
For common translations, the price is determined in accordance with Slovak Act No. 18/1996 Coll. on Prices, depending on the complexity of the text.
The term for delivery and price for translations of substantial length are agreed with the client on an individual basis. Where an express turnaround is requested, the fee will be increased by 25–50% compared with the standard rate.
I am a VAT-registered taxpayer; therefore, the applicable rate of VAT will be added to the price of translation.
Discounts
Discount of 15 % (percent) of the standard prices for translation of school documents is offered to students.
Payment Methods
The payments for translations could be made in cash, by bank transfer or using a COD service (cash on delivery – when the translation is sent by post) on the basis of the statement of account.
